Roberto Albini was born on febraury 26, 1969 in Charleroi (Belgium) and moved to Rome at the age of 2.

He started his artistic career in 1985 at the age of 15, collaborating with some radio stations and several night clubs in Rome’s

“castelli” area. He was resident at the disco "Le Griffe" with his colleague Daniele Piredda until 1989.

It's in this period that the musical phenomenon called "House" reached Italy, and Roberto immediately took it into consideration,

proposing it during his evenings which, in the meantime, were growing in popularity also thanks to the introduction of

Techno, therefore, rave parties in the early 90’s. In Rome, mainly Techno and Underground were played, and at parties,

there were duels (in a friendly fashion) between the dj's playing Techno (thunders) against those playing Underground

(clouds) Roberto joined the "nuvolari", in what would be one of the best periods in his career. After that phase, and

presently, the sounds he plays for us are: House, Garage, Deep, Soulful and Electro House.

In 1987, he participated in the competition "Rapper of the year" held by Radio Dimensione Suono Network and led by Faber

Cucchetti. Radio experience: As already mentioned, Roberto Albini leads a dual role, (evenings) and his activity as a radio speaker.

He participated in a variety of projects: from 1985 to 1987, he collaborated with Radio Effetto Musica, from 1987 to 1990 with RCV Radio. In 1992, he returned to Radio Effetto Musica, and from there, to a program called "Effetto Dance", which in 1994 was transformed into a Television format.

 

 

In 1996 he returned to RCV Radio for another year and in 1997, finally found his true dimension approaching Radio Canale Zero, where still presents his programming.

Some of his most popular programs are: Rave Fever (1991) Underground Movement (1992) Effetto Dance (1993) Effetto

Dance Television (1994), House Club (1997), Mix In Action (1997-98). Roberto also joined the project "Mix fm" with his dj

set led by Faber Cucchetti. In february 2008, he started his recording journey with "Doctor Music Rec., with the launching

of the singles, "Free Spirit" and "Northern Wind", founded with Daniele Piredda.

In september 2008 (again with Daniele Piredda), he began collaborating with artists for the creation and production of remixes. Among the artists: Serenity Plays (london) and Poni (london).

In february 2009, he returned to hosting "Mix In Action" assisted by new artists, such as Nito Dj and Souldynimic. The sounds of this new edition of the program are definitely House and Soulful.

 

 

In 2009 he started a collaboration with Sara Muratore, starring events around Italy and various record productions.

In 2013, start collaborations with artists all over the world, such as, Meisha Moore, Chris Winter, Meechie (Chicago - USA),

Anthony Poteat (New York - USA), Charles Cooper (Baltimore - USA), Tisetso Ntsheno (Durban - South Africa) and other.
